Novorossiysk Rally of Russia 2010Preparations for Novorossiysk Rally Russia 2010 have started. Novorossiysk Rally Russia 2010 will take place on October 15-17. The competition will again be held as the final stage of the Eastern Europe Cup (though according to the Cup calendar the final stage should be Rally of Georgia, it has not been held for several years).

 

It has also become tradition that Rally in Novorossiysk finishes the season in the Russian Championship and RAF Trophy. This year will be no exception.

11.10.2009. 13.16. SS9 stopped after the accident mentioned below. More details to follow.
11.10.2009. 13:13. Crew #8 (Kucher) rolled on SS9.
11.10.2009. 13:00. Before the final stage two contenders for the overall "bronze", Broslavskiy (#16) and Aksakov (#4) are separated by a mere 0.3 seconds.

For Novorossiysk Rally Russia it has a great importance for it is situated in only 30 km from Novorossiysk, while the nearest airports are in 100 km (Anapa) and 170 km (Krasnodar).

The second day of "Novorossiysk Rally of Russia 2009" was shorter than previous: just 53.6 kilometres of competitive distance, on which it was so difficult to cut even a small gap, but so easy to lose the whole race... That is why not many drivers were brave enough to attack on Sunday's stages.
