Thursday, 22 September 2011 RIA "Novosti" press-conference

On 28 September at 13.00 at RIA "Novosti" the RAF vice-president, the chairman of "Rally Russia-2011" Sergey Uspensky will why the final stage of the Russian Rally Championship is changed. He will also tell about union of efforts of "Centre "Professional" and "TTK Motorsport Events" to hold the WRC stage in Russia.

Vehicle brand, having got the name by clusters of stars in Capricon constellation which is in Japanese sounded as "Subaru", is no need to be introduced. The main approach taking as a basis of Subaru company is following "If you are going to manufacture a car you should manufacture a perfect car".

Subaru and motor sport are inseparable. For late 5 years (2005-2009) in the Russian Rally Championship the Subaru cars have brought crews to titles of Russian champions.

The entry list with start numbers of the international standing (the Eastern Europe Cup and the Russian Championship) is published (see Competitors/Documents).

Also you can find Rally Guide in "Competitors" where there is necessary information about the competition.


Participants will get Rally Guide while registering in the Headquarters in Novorossiysk and accredited journalists will do it in the media-centre.

"Novorossiysk Rally of Russia" traditionally closes the Russian Rally Championship and the RAF Trophy. This is the second year when the golden medal in overall is given to the fastest sportsmen of our country before the final round in Novorossiysk: in this season the title of the Russian Champions came back to Andrey Zhigunov and Igor Ter-Oganesyants (both from Moscow). (We'll see the latter on the road of Novorossiysk but with another driver - Yaroslav Solovjev ).

fia-rallycup200.pngThe schedule of Eastern Europe Cup-2010 includes six rounds holding on the territory of five countries - Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia.

Traditionally, Rally of Georgia is only a name in the FIA schedule not existing in reality. Thus, the Eastern Europe Cup becomes a five round competition and perhaps the most various in the European Cup series: the Central Europe Cup includes five rounds as well but four of them are held in Czech Republic and the South-Eastern Europe Cup held in four countries has only four rounds.
